Russian metal/rock innovators’ second release through Mausoleum Records.
GRENOUER, St Petersburg, Russia, release UNWANTED TODAY, their weighty follow up to their 2013 album BLOOD ON THE FACE, by Mausoleum Records worldwide.
UNWANTED TODAY was engineered, mixed and mastered by DUALIZED for dysFUNCTION Productions (Mnemic, Voodoo Highway, Fear Factory). UNWANTED TODAY includes 11 new songs as well as Intro and Outro tracks that give the album the feel of a soundtrack to an epic story of loss, struggle, and resurgence. The bands adrenaline-charging riffs are complemented by guest contributions from Eddy Cavazza (John Wetton, Anthony Phillips), playing lead guitar on “Going To Stay” and keyboards on “Clearway”, as well as Demian Von Dunkelwald (Overunit Machine, Enrico ‘Erk’ Scutti (Figure Of Six) and Dmitriy Yankovskiy (Helicaon Opera) providing guest vocals on various tracks.
“It was then that I experienced what we call a near death experience. For me, there was nothing near about it; it was there. It was a total immersion in light, brightness, warmth, peace, security. I did not have an out of body experience. I did not see my body or anyone about me. I just immediately went into this beautiful bright light. It’s difficult to describe; matter of fact, it’s impossible to describe. Verbally, it cannot be expressed; it’s something which becomes you and you become it.
I could say that I was peace, I was love, I was the brightness; it was part of me.”
Holding back on an original release, the band instead opted to cover an 80’s R&B classic “Caribbean Queen” by Billy Ocean and give it an injection of British Heavy Metal. The revamped single, a mixture of classic old school rock, modern metal and some R&B groove, is a perfect blend that not only delivers the very essence of the original, but also brings it to a whole new audience capturing the imagination of many different genres with its groovy foundations, metal undertones and classic melodic overtones!
After the split with former singer Luca Fizzarotti, today with proud and enthusiasm they officially announce the entrance into the line-up of Roberto Ramon Messina as official vocalist!
Following his 13 years career with the band Secret Sphere, metal music finally occurres to him again with Physical Noise, with immediate impact on the composition of the new album of the band.
“We’re so glad to have the chance to play with such a singer! We immediately started a good friendship bond that will make us go further, so we wish him tousand “green” days! -“
